It will take place this year on June 28th (Friday), 2013, 7:30 pm (19:30, local time) at "Gasthof Heuschober" www.gasthof-heuschober.de close to the exhibition area (Same place as the last years).

In the meantime many Hams from Europe and overseas have announced to attend the 10th International RTTY Gathering. If any of you are thinking about going to the HAMVENTION, Friedrichshafen, Germany this year, we can only suggest you really should go and attend the RTTY Gathering with many RTTY Contester and DX-er!

Dear members and friends of DRCG

We wish all members and friends of DRCG Merry Christmas.

Im März wurde einen DigiTest Versuchstag durchgeführt zur Untersuchung der Eigenschaften verschiedener digitaler (QSO/Contest-) Betriebsarten auf UKW.

Über 70 Stationen aus ganz Deutschland haben daran teilgenommen. Als Ergebnis konnte festgestellt werden, dass sich FSK/MFSK Betriebsarten wie RTTY oder Olivia besser eigenen als PSK. Es entstand bei vielen Teilnehmern der Wunsch, die Versuche weiterzuführen. Um die Wahrscheinlichkeit zu erhöhen, QSO-Partner auf den Bändern zu finden, wurde als Aktivitätstag immer der 3. Dienstag im Monat verabredet in der Zeit zwischen 19:30 und 22:00 ME(S)Z. Auf 2 m soll der Betrieb im Bereich von 144,160 bis 144,180 MHz stattfinden. Die Anruffrequenz ist 144,170 MHz. Auf 70 cm wird der Bereich 432,370 bis 432,400 MHz und die Anruffrequenz 432,380 MHz empfohlen.

Referenzbetriebsart ist RTTY, sowohl zum Anbahnen der QSOs als auch zum Vergleich der Eigenschaften der anderen Betriebsarten. Alle digitalen Betriebsarten können verwendet werden, vorzugsweise Contestia 8/500, DominoEx11 und Thor 16. Es hat sich als sehr hilfreich erwiesen, den PSK-Reporter mitlaufen zu lassen und den Online-Chat von ON4KST zu nutzen. Alle sind eingeladen zum Experimentalfunken am 16. Oktober, 20. November und am 18. Dezember und weiter an jedem 3. Dienstag im Monat.
